Easy Peanut Butter Ice Cream

The other day my husband bought a white chocolate covered ice cream of the you-know-which company. It used to be my favourite.

So I could not resist and took a bite…and could not believe it. I do not know whether my tastebuds have transformed or not but this ice cream tasted awful.

It gave my mouth a feeling similar to smelling a fake perfume. It tasted like artificial vanilla, had an over sugary taste and a very bad aroma…

When you get used to eat real food, every other thing you used to eat seem to taste different. But the worst thing is that these ice-creams are very easy to get and are very cheap.

Unfortunately, we are not a rich country. Many people with middle and lower incomes find market prices very expensive and most prefer cheap food. Or are forced to prefer the cheap food.

And this makes us very vulnerable to food terror. It feels like someone is trying to eradicate us all and has started the job with our kids.

Are you becoming aware of how many children from your family or from your neighborhood are starting to have more and more diseases?

My latest addition to my classical nice creams is the peanut buttery version. Since we love peanut butter as a rule, we loved this one.

I guess I do not have to mention how nourishing this ice cream is for the children.

Ingredients:
1 cup of peanut butter (recipe here)
2 large bananas
1 tblspn kefir or yogurt or clotted cream (optional)
2-3 drops of vanilla extract  (optional)

Instructions:
1-Slice bananas and keep in the freezer for 2 hours. Remove, put in your food processor with peanut butter & kefir and blend.

2-Once the mixture looks like a puree, place in a preferably rectangular shaped deep container and place in the freezer.

3-Keep there for 1 hour. Scoop out ball shaped pieces from the container  and serve immediately.
