I do love watching old movies and listening to their songs.
I am tired, because I’ve spent the entire night fighting off the mosquitoes, resistant to insect killers and determined to attack my daughter. Then, some time close to dawn, both Bade and I fell asleep.
I do not know what prompted me to start a blog. I think it was the first flourless cake I’ve baked. The fact that I needed someone to share my amazement at the taste of that one single cake.

My best friend makes this amazing cinnamon carrot cake. Its the traditional recipe of course, with flour and sugar. I remember asking her its recipe and trying… and not being able to capture that same taste.
Today I have tried another flour and sugar free recipe for Bade : Apple Pie! When my mother tasted it she asked me : “Are you sure there is no sugar inside ?” This recipe definitely replaced the traditional one in our kitchen.
